énième arnaque ebay...

20/07-2005 à 19:08On va dire que je radote, mais plutôt que de faire remonter de vieux posts, j'en crée encore un sur un de mes thèmes favoris : le phishing ebay.
Après tout, comme il y a pas mal de newbies sur Memoclic, ça pourra les aider.
Explication graphique :
* Vous recevez un mail prétendument d'ebay vous informant que votre compte va être bientôt suspendu mais que rien n'est perdu, il suffit de vous connecter et de réentrer vos identifiants.
Le mail, vu en html (ou ouvert dans son navigateur, ce qui est préférable) à cette tête:
arnaque ebay phase 1
Mais si on fait glisser le curseur sur la prétendue adresse ebay cliquable, on découvre :

arnaque ebay phase 2
qui n'a bien entendu rien à voir avec une adresse ebay...
Un clic sur l'adresse "forgée" renvoie sur une fausse page ebay, tout pareil à la vraie, sauf que...

arnaque ebay phase 3
... sauf que bien sûr, l'adresse dans la fenêtre du navigateur n'a rien à voir avec celle d'ebay. Humour (involontaire ?) ou bêtise des faussaires : le message indiquant de se méfier des fausses adresses ("l'adresse dans votre navigateur doit commencer par "https://signin.ebay.com...)

Faut-il le rappeler encore une fois :
* si vous êtes inscrit sur ebay (ou paypal)
vous ne devez recevoir des messages d'alerte
- QUE dans votre langue d'inscription (donc, à priori en français)
- adressés NOMMEMENT à votre pseudo ou votre nom d'inscription
- sans jamais vous demander vos identifiants perso ou bancaires.
- enfin, tous ces messages perso sont OBLIGATOIREMENT repris dans la partie "mon compte" (ou "mon ebay"). Si vous ne les retrouvez pas, c'est qu'ils sont faux...

ça, ce n'est pas la faute d'ebay mais du vendeur... Je touche du bois, en 5 ans (et près de 200 achats et ventes), ça ne m'est encore jamais arrivé...

Cette fois, variante intéressante, le message perso :
"Je vous ai écrit n fois pour tel article que je n'ai toujours pas reçu. J'ai prévenu la POLICE, j'ai prévenu ebay, répondez-moi pour répondre à mon prolem (sic)."
Voilà du moins ce que l'on reçoit si l'on a un vulgaire "Outlook Express" (au hasard).

qui montre, tout bêtement que l'arnaque vient non pas d'ebay mais de... Roumanie. Aucun doute possible.

Pfuuuhhhh, j'ai l'esprit mal tourné, me basant sur le titre du topic, j'ai cru que tu dénonçais Ebay ...
..
Tu as raison de soulever ce genre d'arnaques, ..
on ne peut rien faire, juste seriner, répéter, conseiller :

Je ne connaissais pas cette dernière invention,
le coup du mail ulcéré,.. visiblement elle s'adresse aux vendeurs, ...
Ca rappelle l'arnaque via paypal (toujours d'actualité) de l'acheteur, toujours ulcéré, qui se fait rembourser intégralement son achat sous n'importe quel pretexte non vérifiable,
des vendeurs ont ainsi perdu l'objet mais aussi le montant total de la vente, sans aucun appel possible,

Petit changement (pour une fois...). Ce coup-ci, on m'annonce que mon compte ebay a DEJA été suspendu... mamma mia, la cabane est sur le chien, au secours, que dois-je faire...
pas de panique : le gentil mail me propose (bien entendu) de me connecter, clic-clac, sur le site ebay indiqué (tit problème : le site indiqué est hébergé en Tchéquie.... Deuxième tit problème, on m'avertit qu'ebay " will request personal data (password, credit card/bank numbers, and so on) in this email. Learn how to protect your account", bref, en bon français, me demandera mes données personnelles (mot de passe, numéros de carte de crédit et de compte bancaire, et "ainsi de suite" "(sic !!)... [voir surligné au bas de la capture]

réclame une mise à jour d'identifiants bancaires, le titre de la page, lui,
rappelle qu'un client d'ebay vous "réclame le paiement d'un article"...
